NIOS Mathematics Study Order (Based on NCERT Sequence) ​

As you know, the NIOS Mathematics syllabus is a mix of Class 11 and Class 12 topics.
To make studying easier with CBSE teachers on YouTube, I reorganized the chapters according to the NCERT order and separated them into Class 11 and Class 12 level topics.

Class 11 Topics (NIOS Chapter Numbers) ​

Study these first:

13, 14, 15, 16, 33, 25 (Limits & Continuity), 38

Class 12 Topics (NCERT Order — NIOS Chapter Numbers) ​

23, 22, 20, 24, 21, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 37

Important Note ​

  • Chapter 25 (Limits & Continuity) and Chapter 38 (Mathematical Reasoning) are not from NCERT Standard Mathematics.
  • These topics come from Applied Mathematics (Class 11).

So when searching for lectures on YouTube, search specifically:

Why I Made This Order ​

  • I arranged the chapters this way so that I can follow CBSE teachers on YouTube easily, since most of them teach according to the NCERT sequence.

  • Now All you have to do is study these chapters from CBSE teachers (Next topper, PW, sci and fun , magnet brains or anyone you like)

  • Target these chapters with NIOS module marks weigtage wise as given on their site!

  • Then do nios textbook / pdf questions side by side, then NIOS terminal questions, then buri nazar on NIOS PQYS, and question banks!
